Seats look amazing. I also really like the semi-gloss paint tone.

Re: Can't take out key...

It is the shift lock cable causing this to be sure. Somewhere between the shifter and the column.

Re: Exterior Fuse Box where is it???????

Its possible they meant the main distribution box which is behind the regular fuse panel under the dash on the firewall. That is where all the relays mega fuses are for the truck. Pia to get to because of all the wires there. Somehow i don't feel that is what you are looking for. Nothing on the outs...

New vids

Its nice to see flash is still the go to place for info. I just spent the last while reading the tech pages again. I don't post a lot here anymore but i like to poke my head in once and a while and say thanks to Chuck and all the good folks here who helped support my addiction from early on. I learn...

Re: Day time running lights

I made my own with a relay. The only issue is it activates when the key is turned on, taking amps for the lights on the start cycle. No big deal it still works fine. I wired a bypass/blackout switch under the dash to disable the lights if needed. Red to the switch is power and white runs from the sw...

Re: CTIS valve body tear down

Yup! I did it, I wrote extensively on it and took lots of pics. I think most of it is on the HML. You need to sign up to be a member (a must) http://www.hummernetworkforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=229120&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 I have a few pics here http://greenmeanh1-com.webs.com/apps/photos/...

Seems like a long time since i have checked in here.
This is where it all started for me
I finished my build which took a couple of years. I learned a tremendous amount of stuff over this time.
I tried to split all the pics into catagories. A lot of pics here.

Re: fuel pressure issue?

Almost sound like a torque converter lock up issue where its not unlocking on deceleration and stalls if you get slow enough.

Re: 2000 H1 WILL NOT START

The PMD drives the fuel solinoid on the end of thew injection pump so if the PMD isn't working the injection pump poppet won't open and close properly. The oil pressure sender is in series with the pump so if its shot the pmp won'ty work. Of course thats the way it is on my 97 HMC4. Good Luck

Re: Differential fluid

I was wondering the same thing. I have been looking at cheap hydraulic fluid line made of some sort of plastic. Its the same diameter and i see no reason it wont work. Comes in colors as well. Once i find out if it can handle weather and stuff i would give it a try. Also, I ve always wondered if it ...
