H1 "Flat Tow" behind a motorhome

Does anyone have experince with towning an H1 behind a motorhome? The owners manual say, "don't do it". Or should I just buy a jeep?

Hello sitarski,
to me a motorhome tow vehicle would be a throw away car “dime a dozen type” ... I think you can find a less expensive tow vehicle to use instead of a H1 Hummer. Plus the weight of a H1 could give your motor Home unnecessary load, poor fuel mileage, extra wear on the breaks compared to a free wheeling jeep. The H1 is HEAVY "almost 3 jeeps"

would love to see some pic's of your final set up. sounds fun.

I will probably go for the jeep. Just wanted to see if there was any data available. The hummer behind the 40' diesel pusher would be quite the site.
