THE HUMMER CLUB, INC. PRESENTS:
Colorado Rocky Mountains 2009!!!!
June 12th - 14th

Location:
Golden, Colorado

Event Coordinators:

Dave Breggin from Blue Hummer will be leading some of the trails.

Schedule of Activities:
Friday June 12th:
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM - Welcome party will be in the restaurant/bar held at the Golden Hotel, downtown Golden, Colorado a few blocks from the COORS Brewery.

Saturday June 13th:
9:30 AM – We will meet at the hotel parking lot (across the bridge from the Farmer's Market) & head out to the trails. We will be driving to the continental divide up Waldorf Mountain. If time allows, a detour to Bill Moore Lake will also be part of the day.

Sunday June 14th:
9:00 AM - We will meet at the hotel parking lot and head out to the trails. We will be driving over a glacier to the top of the continental divide and over mountain passes the back way into Central City, Colorado's high mountain historic gaming town.

Important Notes:
1) HOPE trail certification is available to all drivers wishing to participate.
2) All trucks should be fueled and prepared to leave for the trails without having to stop.
3) Be sure to pack a lunch and plenty of water to stay hydrated.
4) Inform your trail leader if you do not have CB communications.
5) Dinner will be at your leisure throughout the event. We will make group dinner plans during the event – there are some fantastic eating establishments closer to the mountains if you choose to participate.
6) The event will be headquartered in Golden, Colorado the gateway to the mountains. The COORS brewery is 1 block from the event hotel. The MEDVED Hummer dealership is also located in Golden, approximately 2 miles from the event hotel.

Whoo, sounds like fun 8)

Only 16 hrs drive from Houston :shock:
Only 300 dollar, 2 hr flight and a H2 rent Hummer away 8)

Wish I could go. I cant though. I have to save my vacation time. Getting married in October. 8)

H1sp has the right idea. Some of that cheap insurance on a brand new H2....no worries. 8)

Most of those pictures of of the Donfeng Humvee (The one made by the Chinese), good pictures though, I wasn't aware they were operating them in the war.
