My friend Wayne sent me a list of the contents that make up an emergency bag that you would grab if you had to 'get out of dodge' really fast. The article and list is now up at:

Would you have the specs on the your H1 transfer case cooling loop bypass kit?

If the cooling loop breaks it ties the two lines that go to the cooling loop together.

I have just about everything ... well .... now i need a extra power steering pump per another post :lol:

Here is the Vehicle MEL (Minimum Equipment List) for high-risk areas, like Iraq and Afghanistan, Kurdistan, etc...
(Applies normally to Toyota Landcruisers, because parts are available in more than 180+ countries) but also useful for H1 owners.

Vehicle Tactical Kit
M4 Magazines (12 per vehicle)
Smoke Grenades
2 red
2 white
Chem Lights
2 Green
2 Red
2 IR (For use with Night Vision)
Medical Kit/Trauma Kit
Extra Tourniquets, minimum of 3 to hand off of the headrests for easy access
Case of MRE's
Water Drinking, (6) litres or one case of 24 water bottles
Tow Strap, rigged to front and rear bumper, for rapid deployment in case vehicle is disabled in ambush
Jumper cables, air compressor
Took Kit
4 way lug wrench, Jack
Flashlight/Q-Beam
Thermite Grenade (to destroy vehicle and contents if it is disabled and must be left behind)

Battery Power Power Wrench with Extra Battery - DeWalt
Multiplug adapter for the cigarette lighters, minimum of 3 in a straight line

My ego device is one of the cheaper ones & has lasted for months, since late November 2013, so far I haven't had an issue with it.
