When I saw the new pic I was curious about the snow. Are you pushing through it or did a plow truck pile you in?

I was just driving through it. It was one of those really rare occasions when it was really that deep.

This was actually the first picture I was not fond of. I didnt steal this one to my desk top back ground. too much white for me. I like the other one with blue sky, little snow on the ground, and the truck. it was a awesome picture.

Now Chuckster...

C'mon... fess up.

I don't believe for one minute you were actually driving through snow that deep. Unless it was all fresh and fluffy, you would be crushing it beneath the vehicle eventually getting high centered on packed down snow. I know, because just two weekends ago, I was in Flagstaff for our annual Snow Run and I was the truck breaking the trail. The snow was as deep as 30 inches and I got stuck atleast a dozen times, in some part due to the ice underneath the snow, but often due to it being as high as the bumper. Even with the two inch suspension lift, I was getting hung up. Winched out once when all four of us were stuck at one time. Otherwise, I would get yanked back with a tow strap from the other H1. The only way we got through was from repetitive full speed ahead crashing into the deep stuff until I got through it. H2s and H3s followed in my wake and sill got stuck at times. Took us three or four hours to go the 5 miles up the trail.

The trail wasn't 5 miles long. It was a much shorter flat section section so there was nowhere to sink deeper. I actually did just drive along. The snow seemed to pack under the tires and the truck rode above the snow.
