Thanks guys I all hummers are great ,mine has aprox 70,miles when I get a chance I'm going to post some updated interior pics. I bought it in chantile va and drove it to my home in florida. I dont think I woud be able to afford it as a daily driver.
but it's my pride and joy. when I have to fix some else that brakes and get mad , I just drive it and I fall in love with it all over again. some day when I get some extra cash I would like to restore the whole truck if it's worth it. It's been to NC twice on family vacations. I do most of the work my self ,but only thanks to Flash Off road. and my parts and service manuel. there is onyl one local guy that fixes them. He is good but he is not Cheap. You quick learn not to say it's Parts for a hummer or you"ll pay like if it's gold. Parts I had rebuilt recently Starter $398.00, Radiator $65.00, Aircompressor $10 I did my self. next I'd like to attack the rust in the under carrige. also have rust left rear end of the wagon. well thats enough about my h1..how about guys ?

Im a old gear head, use to tinker with race cars, race boats … now I have a family, sit in a office all day and go craZy.

I keep it maintained myself and all the small repairs. I buy and store parts I think I will need at a later date. (not sure why, the H1 is the strongest built vehicle I have ever owned)
Mine is a street queen, I use to wheel Jeeps, Now im all done with the “after wheeling” clean up and repairs…
I spend my weekends cleaning the H1 and rolling it to parades, out to dinner or small local car shows. … its not a show truck, even though everyone teases me when I clean the A-arms or when I polish my T-case.

* Im about to change out the radiator reservoir due to the original one looks yellow and dirty….. Stuff like that I do…. Replace old sun drenched parts etc ….

Here are my wheels “Before and after”

I visit Flash and a couple of other forum’s during the day when im on conference calls or need a outlet “a break”.
