H3T

Post by Citabria7GCBC » Tue 07 Oct , 2008 12:36 pm

I sure have been eyeballing them alot lately. I think I may try to get one one day, depending on how they are. I will go test drive one when ever they actually come out. I think they look kinda neat.

I think I will have to wait a few years to let them work out the bugs, and things however I like the looks of it so far.

Heavy duty brush guard

PIAA lights everywhere (Im affraid of the dark!)

I went to look at the H3T a couple of weeks ago. I didnt even test drive it thats how bad the sticker shock was. $40K for the truck, which is the size of a toyota truck. Not the full size tundra either. Although I like the H3 visually, I just dont see how they can justify 40K for such a small truck.

I have been contemplating picking up an h3 that has been salvaged, and chopping the top to make a pickup. It would look like the h3t concept that was never released.

I rented an h3 for a week, and after a week, I felt it was underpowered, and not really exciting. I kind of lost sight of that idea...

I still have an ebay saved search for a salvage h3. I want one that has been rear ended or has roll over damage. Where the front end is mostly in tact. Hoping to get one for around 6-8K. The prices on used ones is dropping pretty fast though. You can get a used one for 15k now.

and "underpowered" is a comparison of the h3 to my wifes 2007 wrangler with a stock V6.

It is not a comparison against my NA. The h3 can roast my h1 in a race
