Looking For Input Possible H3

Post by SilverRide98 » Mon 30 May , 2011 8:08 pm

Hello All,
I have a H1 and read a lot of the articles for help with my vehicle. Chuck and the group have saved me many hours and thousands of dollars. I am looking to find out about H3's pros, cons and best years. I would like to know the differences between them and best options. This would be a replacement for my Tacoma. I use it a lot off road 60highway/40 off road. Not super rough stuff, but it will see rock piles and sand washes. Also like to know the price ranges, how hard are they to work on and find replacement parts.

I had a 2006 for a few years.

I never had any real problems

Some times the seat felt too low and floor board felt too high.

Not much room for a 6' tall adult in the back seat.

The 2006 had the power window switch low on the door arm rest, made it uncomfortable to control. Later years they moved it forward and easer to operate.

I put 35's on it and this knocked down the HWY power, but it wheeled nicely.

I only wheeled in mud, water and sand. Nothing too extreme, just goofing around.

From what i read the newer Alpha is a monster and the rig to buy.

I still love the look.

I want to say the Alpha came out in 2008 ?

The big deal was the V-8. Yum, Yum

I think you had to buy a up-graded package "option" for the lockers. Not sure.

I would rank the H3 HIGH cause the approach, departure and break-over angles are good.
The torque was high and I loved the low-range power it had.

Mine wasnt a race car, but I like how it wheeled. Point, click and it did the job.

Now they have a ton of accessories to buy for them. Would be a fun truck

Hi!

I have used H1, H2 truck but now I am using H3 truck. H3 are the best trucks as compared to H1 and H2. H3 has strong wheels, strong staring and of all beautiful look. That's why I love to drive H3 truck. They are simply the best among all hummer trucks.
