What you need:

I used the 5744405 which is a kit consisting of:

a) 1 x 5744403 kit

b) 1 x bleeder screw and cap

c) 1 x 5579865 kit

The 5744403 kit has absolutely everything you need to overhaul one rear caliper (except the bleeder screw if you want to replace it).

The 5579865 consists of two sets of the rubber dust boots and two piston seals. It's kind of a useless kit, as it does not include any of the metal dust caps that seal the end of the piston and press against the brake pad.

In effect when you buy 5744405, you get three sets of piston boot and seals, but only one set of caliper o-rings, and only one metal piston end dust cap!

 

The AMG 5744405 kit has

caliper boot and piston seals

four o-rings

hand brake actuator shaft seal

the metal dust cap for the brake pad facing end of the piston

The difference between the 5744403 and 5744405 seems to be the bleeder screw/valve and an additional boot seal kit.
